A brand new exhibition from multidisciplinary artist and researcher Emmanuel Shogbolu held at Metroland Studios in collaboration with Harlesden High Street
The exhibition is an assemblage of research, film and sound that elaborates on faith, resilience, testimony and spiritual grounding in the midst of adversity.
This exciting new show will open next Thursday 23rd May and will run through London Gallery Weekend (31st May – 2nd June), closing on Friday 14th June.

Emmanuel Shogbolu
Emmanuel Shogbolu (b. 199x) a.k.a. SCATTSMAN is an artist, researcher and philosopher born, raised and based in East London. His work centres around self and hyper-local documentation through photography, moving image, drawing, painting, sculpture and installation.
In 2023, Shogbolu presented Pieces of a SCATTSMAN at Harlesden High Street and, in 2022, SCATTSHRINE as part of INFINITE FX x Nine Nights programme at the ICA.
This exhibition is a collaboration between Metroland Cultures and Harlesden High Street, curated by Jonny Tanna and Christy O’Beirne.
Harlesden High Street
Harlesden High Street is a gallery in North West London that exhibits contemporary art by both local and international artists, with a focus on exhibiting work by people of colour.
In addition to its gallery programme, Harlesden High Street also hosts a cultural outreach programme with an aim to engage audiences in un-gentrified neighbourhoods, through workshops, talks and artist initiatives.
