The Lead Programmer will work closely with the Head of Programmes to develop the conceptual framework for the inaugural Brent Music Festival, to take place in Summer 2023. The role continues the legacy of Brent 2020, the London Borough of Culture programme, in which music played a central role, particularly through the No Bass Like Home project and others planned but impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Brent Music Festival will be a biennial event celebrating Brent’s rich musical heritage, platforming acts connected to and living in the borough, and fostering music-making and musical talent in the borough.
