About

Collective Rhythms is a summer festival of music, sound and healing happening across the London Borough of Brent.

Taking place from July to September 2023, Collective Rhythms includes live performances, family events, day-long festivals, talks and healing workshops.

It covers the entire borough of Brent, from the north to the south. Together, we’ll tell a story of a borough forged through music, and explore how sound has helped different people build and heal communities.

Though we might sing different songs, play different instruments, and make different music, we’ll show that, in Brent, we all share one Collective Rhythm.

Explore the list of events to find out more. Venues are spread across Brent, from Kilburn to Wembley and lots of places in between!

We are excited to work with partners to celebrate the sound of Brent. Collective Rhythms partners include: Brent Music Service, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, South Asian Creatives, Shubbak Festival, K2K, The Lexi Cinema, Red Lotus and Rangeelu Gujarat, Kilburn State of Mind, Amanda Camenisch and Therese Westin.

Collective Rhythms is supported by Arts Council England, Brent Council, John Lyons Charity and National Lottery Community Fund.
