A look ahead at the exhibitions coming up in Metroland’s gallery…
Other Cinemas Film School
18 July – 4 August
Other Cinemas present a showcase of film works created by students of the Other Cinemas film school. Held in the Metroland Studios gallery, this show is a celebration of the themes that define the film school: radical pedagogy, learning and sharing collectively, expanding and exploring imaginations, relationship-building, and a culture of visibility.
About the Artists: Other Cinemas is a film-based project initiated by Arwa Aburawa and Turab Shah to find better, more equitable ways to make and share films. The project seeks to create a deeper connection between the creation of films and their exhibition by organising free, high-quality, film events and taking them to the community in Brent.
