Social Space

The Social Space is where much of the life of the building takes place. It is used by Metroland and residents day-to-day and for public events, meals, discussions and informal gatherings. The space supports slower forms of connection and makes visible the social conditions that underpin cultural work.

The space is also shared with community-led groups who use the building and it hosts public events, community meals, talks, reading groups and discussions.
