Metroland Studio Resident Smriti Mehra in new exhibition

METROLAND STUDIO RESIDENT

Following the online exhibition organised in February 2021, the Willesden Gallery is now showing ‘Re:store, Re:new, Re:imagine’, a group exhibition finding balance through art. The exhibition draws together 32 works from various art forms including photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, collage and video, and showcases both emerging and established artists. Artwork will be for sale, with all proceeds going directly to each artist.

Says the Gallery: In the current climate, whilst dealing with the uncertainty and anxiety caused by the global pandemic, art can help us become more resilient and support our health and wellbeing. Now more than ever it is important to engage in mindful creative and artistic processes and bring artists together across our community.

Metroland Studio artist Smriti Mehra is one of the artists featured in the exhibition. Read more about the artist’s practice here and on our Instagram page here.

‘Re:store, Re:new, Re:imagine’ runs until 3 September, 2021.
