The Playworkers at Assemble Play aim to create an environment where visiting children can play freely, supporting behaviour that is freely chosen and personally directed. The sessions do not rely on fixed play infrastructure, like in playgrounds, but use ‘loose parts’, or anything that can be moved around, carried, rolled, lifted, piled on top of one another, or combined to create interesting and novel structures and experiences. Families and care-givers are invited to come along to spend time while children play. Choose to come along to one, or all of the following dates*:

Thursday 18 August, 11AM-3PM [Event has passed]

Saturday 20 August, 11AM-3PM [Event has passed]

Sunday 21 August, 11AM-3PM [Event has passed]

*Please note the change in dates for this event due to the rail strike planned on 19 August.

We plan to set up the play area in a shaded location within the park. This may shift due to weather and other activities in the park. If so, we will send updates via Eventbrite and Instagram.
