Record label Lightning formed in the 1970s and released Culture’s classic roots reggae album ‘Two Sevens Clash’ in 1977. In 1979 they had commercial success with ‘Althea and Donna’s ‘Uptown Top Ranking’, Janet Kay’s ‘Silly Games’ and Dennis Brown’s ‘Money in my pocket’.
