Do you have a vision for a Brent Borough-wide music festival in 2023?

Metroland Cultures is calling for a collective or individual to be the lead programmer for Brent Music Biennial 2023.

You will be provided with support and budget to bring your vision to life. The festival will celebrate the diverse cultures of the Borough, strengthen the existing music infrastructure and help to support the development of young people and musicians in the sector. The Lead Programmer will work closely with the Head of Programmes to develop the conceptual framework for the inaugural Brent Music Biennial, to take place in Summer 2023. The role continues the legacy of Brent 2020, the London Borough of Culture programme, in which music played a central role, particularly through the No Bass Like Home project and others planned but impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Brent Music Biennial will be a biennial event celebrating Brent’s rich musical heritage, platforming acts connected to and living in the borough, and fostering music-making and musical talent in the borough.
